ŞIRNAK - An investigation was opened to the commemoration event made for Miraç Miroğlu, who was killed when he was hit by an armoured vehicle while playing with his bike on the street.

 

An investigation has been opened for the mass commemoration of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Idil District Organization for 7-year-old Miraç Miroğlu, who was killed when he was hit by a police armoured vehicle while playing with his bike on September 3 in the Turgut Özal Neighborhood of Şırnak’s Idil district.

 

The Idil Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against HDP Provincial General Council member Elfesya Nas, who was dismissed from her duty who read the statement during the commemoration, and Mesopotamia Cultural Center (MKM) performer Abdullah Ayav, who sang kilam (folk poet poem), alleging the ‘’inciting the people to hatred and hostility or humiliation crime’’. 

 

She did not accept the accusation

 

Elfesya Nas, who went to the Idil District Police Department in the morning, did not accept the accusations and said in her statement: ‘’It is an event that has became public knowledge. We made a press release to prevent such incidents from happening again and to take precautions. I do not accept the accusation that was placed on me.’’
