DİYARBAKIR - While the statement that MEBYA-DER wanted to make for Mahsum Aslan, whose funeral was sent to his family by cargo, was prevented, mass made the sit-in.

 

The Association of Lost Their Relatives in the Cradle of Mesopotamia (MEBYA-DER) held a press release in front of the Diyarbakır Koşuyolu Park Human Rights Monument regarding the sending of the funeral of People’s Defence Forces (HPG) member Mahsum Aslan by cargo. Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) provincial and district organizations, Free Women’s Movement (TJA), Association for Solidarity with Detainees’ Relatives (TUAY-DER), Med Federation of Legal and Solidarity Associations with Detainees and Convicts Relatives (MED TUHAD-FED) joined to the statement. 

The mass, who wanted to make a statement in the park, ended the statement with a sit-in against the blocking of the police.
