NEWS CENTER - HDP MP Tülay Hatimoğulları celebrated the people's Hıdırellez Festival with her statement.

 

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) vice co-chair Tülay Hatimoğulları, who is responsible for Peoples and Beliefs Commission, issued a written statement on the occasion of the Hıdırellez Feast.

 

‘Aburdance begins’

 

In the statement that Hıdırellez, which is accepted as a common element for many different beliefs, languages and cultures in Mesopotamia, Anatolia, and the Balkans, has been celebrated for thousands of years as a spring feast believed to come with abundance and fertility, said: “According to the belief, the protector and creator of life in the land. Hızır / Hıdır / Xızır and Ilyas, the protector and watcher of life in water, meet and at this meeting, the dead nature comes to life, wealth and abundance begins in the soil and water.”

 

‘It is accepted by many peoples and beliefs’

 

In the statement, which was stated that Hıdırellez, which is mostly celebrated by Alevi citizens, was accepted by many other peoples and beliefs, especially the Roma, it was pointed out that Hıdırellez was also included in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage List of Humanity. In the statement, "Hıdırellez is considered a world heritage with the description of the common culture of the peoples living together despite the differences in belief, sharing the same mood and unity."

 

‘We celebrate your Hıdırellez Feast’

 

Finally, the following statements were included in the statement: "We celebrate the Hıdırellez Feast of our peoples with our wishes that we bury at the bottom of the rose trees in this Hıdırellez, hang them on the branches of the trees, and leave to the rivers and seas bring health, justice, freedom and peace to the land we live in."
