DİYARBAKIR - The Court of Appeal approved the annulment of the government's decision to declare the Urban Forest in Diyarbakır as a reserve building area.

 

The decision of the Diyarbakır 2nd Administrative Court, which annulled the decision of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to declare the Urban Forest in the Kayapınar district of Diyarbakır as a reserve building area, was approved by the 2nd Administrative Suit Department of the Antep Regional Court.

 

In the lawsuit filed by the Diyarbakır Bar Association against the decision taken by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in 2013, Diyarbakır 2nd Adminitrative Court decided "there is no compliance with the law and legislation in the process of determining the immovables subject to the case as reserve building area inconsistent with the purpose of Law No. 6306". Regarding this decision, the ministry applied for appeal.

 

The decision has been found proper

 

2nd Administrative Suit Department of the Gaziantep Regional Court, which resolved the objection, found the Diyarbakır 2nd Administrative Court's decision against the ministry in proper and ruled that there was no legal reason to revoke the decision.

 

The Court of Appeal, which closed the appeal against its decision, took the decision unanimously.
