ANKARA - Police said to MA reporters who wanted to shoot in front of the courthouse before the Kobanê hearing, "We received orders from our manager, we will not keep the Mesopotamia Agency here."

 

The Kobanê hearing, whose first hearing, started with tension. The police did not allow the press to follow the statement that Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Mithat Sancar wanted to make with the HDP Parliamentary Group in front of the Sincan Prison Courthouse before the hearing. Thereupon, Mithat Sancar made the statement without the press.

 

The police also did not allow the press to shoot in front of the courthouse. A special embargo was imposed on MA reporters. The reporters of Mezopotamya Agency who wanted to shoot were taken from the courthouse by the police force. The police battered the reporters away, saying, "We received orders from our manager, we will not keep the Mesopotamia Agency here."

 

MA reporters will file a criminal complaint about the police who physically intervened them.
