URFA - The sit-in protest Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar started in front of the Urfa Courthouse with the demand for "justice" continues on its 44th day.

Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack of the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız before the June 24, 2018, general elections in Urfa's Suruç district, and her son Ferit Yenyaşar have been sitting in front of the Urfa Courthouse since March 9 with the demand of "justice". The family, who came in front of the Urfa Courthouse in the early hours of the morning, continues their watch despite the hot weather.

Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar started their watch late today because they had a weekly phone call with Fadıl Şenyaşar, who was held in Elazığ Closed Prison.

'Let's be the one voice against cruelty'

On the other hand, the family thanked the Mardin Şahmaran Women's Platform, which visited them yesterday from their social media accounts, and shared, "Staying silent and neutral against persecution also means taking sides with it. Come, let's be the one voice against cruelty and injustice."
